Best 2 Star Defense Deck

Keep getting slaughtered an having your precious treasure stolen?  Fear not!  I have a great solution for you:

This guy!  The Crystalloid Tormentor!

He has the highest defense of a single card that I've found for 2 star cards.  He is better than almost every 3 star defense cards with raw stats and almost as good as 4 star cards.

He is a reward for defeating the 3rd boss (you can always repeat killing bosses) and is quite easy to get multiples:
Level up 5 of these to 160 and you'll have over 48,000 defense.  That'll show em!  Let the free gold roll in!

Strengthen Efficiently!

I haven't seen this posted anywhere else, so I'd like to share the most gold efficient way to strengthen your cards in War of the Fallen.

It costs 160 gold and 8 cards to strengthen at level 1.  This is the most gold per xp strengthen amount.  Using more higher star value cards are worth more xp.  Below is a method to strengthen 3 star or higher cards to level 160 using the least amount of cards and gold.

Step 1: Acquire a 2-star card to strengthen and 8 1-star cards to strengthen that card with.

Step 2: Use 8 of the strengthened 2-star cards to level up your specific card with.

Step 3: Repeat until max level is achieved.

Starting out

War of the Fallen is a great example of the new card game/rpg/battler genre.  Unlike previous card battlers, this game only uses your 5 best cards for attack and 5 best cards for defense as you set them.

You will start by selecting a race.  Te race will give all cards with similar racial affinity a bonus when you are battling opponents.  There are good cards in each, so do not be afraid to choose any particular race.

When starting the game you will do quests by using your attack deck.  Dependent on the cards you select, they will do damage to each of the monsters in the quest.  You can strengthen and evolve your cards to do more damage.

Continue doing quests until you level up. Once you do, you can assign points yo either energy, attack mana or defense mana.  Initially you will want to focus on energy as it will help you obtain cards and gold to strengthen/evolve your cards.  Higher attack mana will allow you to have more powerful cards in your attack deck and the same is true for your defense deck.

Once you have a full cards under your belt, you can battle other players for gold and treasure, spending attack mana each time you attack.

All in all, this game is true to what it offers.  Easy gameplay/navigation and fun battle features.
